Malaga
1st of March, 2007
I always knew that Africa was pretty close from Barcelona, so after some hours of research (in NY), I
realized a 3 day trip down to Morocco wouldn't be too expensive. So Josh and I planned out the route,
reserved hotels and had everything on point. After missing our morning train on the 28th, cause me
and Bryan overslept, we took the night train and arrived at our first checkpoint on the morning of the
first day of March, MALAGA.
Big people in a tiny World.
Had about 6 hours to skate Malaga before we had to jump on the Train to Tarifa.
Found some kids to show us some spots around town.
Beautiful City
Bryan's board matches with the Spanish Flag (in the background). Good Focal shoot, right ?!
We got taken to a Wally Spot.
Josh was the only one that was able to communicate with the kids, since he speaks a pretty decent Spanish.
And then to another spot where Bryan was doing his Nollie 270 bs overcrooked.
Had to catch the last Bus from Malaga to Tarifa (most southern tip of Spain) so that we can catch
the Ferry to Morocco that night.
I somehow lost or someone stole my Gold Chain on this bus ride while i was sleeping.
We arrived in Tarifa and found some skaters skating at this spot. I thought this was funny how
they got respect for the Big 4 in Barcelona.
They had the shortest rail that i have ever seen, could be mistaken for a techdeck rail.
Love this picture.
It was getting dark and it was time to take the ferry to a different continent
We were pshyed cause we got a Moroccan Stamp with Arabic letters, a must have on a Passport,
too bad we didn't take a picture of it.
leaving Tarifa.
Port of Tangier, Africa.
