Hamburg & Sweden
June 6th to June 8th 2007
I got a phone call from Torsten asking me to film the Quicksilver Contest in Malmo, Sweden. On the way
there i missed a connecting train from Stuttgart to Copenhagen so i had to stay a night in Hamburg.

I knew no one in Hamburg so i was just walking around town and taking pictures.

Had to get some sleep at this random small hotel, had no windows, tv, toilet or anything that i would
actually need. But it had a bed so i was fine.

so woke up at like 5 to catch the train from Hamburg to Copenhagen, Denmark, and then to Malmo, Sweden.
In Denmark, the train went onto a Ship, which was a quicker ride to Copenhagen, it was weird though,
since i fell asleep on the train and woke up and i was on a ship. Was shocked and surprised, so i took
out the camera and filmed with this device that airsucks the camera onto the window.

Right after i got to Sweden, i hurried to be on time for the contest.
Its hard to see but thats Dennis, Noseblunting the steep ramp. Insane, i am pretty sure that won him 500 Euros.
I was worried that i am going to have no place to sleep in Sweden since the Adidas dudes and the judges
for the contest would be staying at a Comfort Inn which was filled. So Tim had a bed free in his room and
let me stay at the Hiltons with him. Thanks Tim.

Top 10 best Hotels that i have stayed at in my life.
Malmo, its kind of weird, gets dark around 11pm and gets light around 4 am in Sweden, and the more
north you go the less darkness you get.

There was some sort of a corny concert going on which was just as bad as listening to a Track from
David Hasselhoffs new album, but Kids were pshyed and climbed the trees to see.

Sweden got rough ground.
Had dinner with Tim, Chris Ortiz, Bryce,Pat ,Steve Alba, and his wife, legendary dinner with
people who started skateboarding like 30 years ago.

The Next morning the finals were going down,this is the view from the Elevator of he Hiltons.
While Tim and I were waiting for the Bus, we saw these dudes on Bikes wearing the same outfit and rolling
around the city advertising Water on their Scooters.

Bunch of people showed up for the finals.
Tim had a bunch of interviews to give out because of his "talent" to talk ...
Sorry all these Contest Pictures suck, because i had to be filming all the time and never got the chance

Was a fun contest put up by quicksilver, hope to be there next years aswell.
