Barcelona & Sitges
Beginning of November, 2008
And its time to premiere Translations!
It felt good to be back, crashed at Eneja's (Thanks), where Sina was still holding the front since I moved out!
and this cat is still chilling on Rambla del Raval!
So it was the big day and thanks for Estrella Damm Beer for sponsoring "Translations" last minute and getting us all
waisted!
At the premiere, I was way nervous to take Pictures and Danny got already drunk before the film started, but here is
a shot of the ones part of "Translations" that were able to fly out to Barcelona for the Premiere. The premiere started
a little late because of Spaniards being known for taking their time and not being on time most of the time, but a
bunch people were waiting outside of the Bar even before the Bar was open, and it ended up being packed to the
maximum. All the homies from Barcelona were there and people were hyped on the film, and I just want to thank for
everyone who was able to come out!
Afterwards pretty much everyone headed back to the center, and while walking back, Markus reminded me that I
owed him 50 beers. While we were filming this trick for over 2 hours, I told him if he does it now he gets 50 beers,
and of course he does it. So I kept my word and Markus was handing out refreshments to everyone!
Michael Mackrodt Bs 360! + a Bs 360 Kickflip later on!
I had a day left before heading back to London, so Michi came up with the idea to go to Sitges and look for Spots in
the beautiful Beach city!
But before one bounces, you must have a cheap 2 Euro Sandwich!
then go to Macba and get the thumbs up from Liam!
then wait for Shawn to finish an Interview where he used a huge Chupa Chup as a Microphone...
awesome train ride!
Troy knew a Bowl out there!
I can't skate bowls at all... Photo by Troy (check out Troy's awesome blog at skategypsy.blogspot.com !)
Julian found this rooftop/terrace ontop of a abandoned Restaurant which had some really weird obstacles...
Some parts of Sitges is just abandoned, just like an awesome Water park which Troy knew of, so we checked it out!
Shawn found this long metal pole, which he thought would be perfect for a Pole jam... well it didn't really want to stay
in place and was a waist of time...
Shawn the board needs to be ontop of the pole, not lurking below it...hehe
Kreuzberg!
Barcelona Taxis look like Bumble Bees, only difference is they don't produce Honey but Carbon Dioxide!
The next day after waking up at 4pm with a Hangover, we went filming and it was weird filming for no reason... I mean
like not having a project to film for... but it was relaxing, no more pressure!
It was getting way to hot in Barcelona and it was just too sunny, I was really missing the bad/horrible rainy weather in
the United Kingdom, so I flew back after a Spanish Coffee with Julien and Michi!
