Halong Bay & Hanoi
Early January, 2009
It took a while to develop but I finally was able to get the Black and White 400TX film developed from Halong Bay
and Hanoi. Here it is, one of the Natural Wonder of the World composed in Black and White.
"Pineapples, Pineapples, Pineapples!"
No Washingtons' or Bejamins' on the notes here, Halong Bay it is! 200,000 = 9 Euros!
Bongs are kind of common around here...
After 4 hours of being on a boat, it was another 4 hours on the bus where they were playing nonstop Vietnamese
Comedy on a DVD player. I pretty much just made up funny stories in my head which could fit with the TV Show
visuals that they were playing and it kind of amused myself for four hours...weird, but worked. But I was glad to get
off at the rest stops and buy some rice and candy (like seen above).
The next day we had a full day to do some tourist attractions in Vietnam's capital.
Hanoi has a lot of Chinese influence!
Socialist Hat...
Socialist in the hearth...
Contrast all over in this shot!
I guess learning chinese in Uni for more than a half a year now is starting to pay off. I recognize three of these
symbols, but I still can't make the meaning of it... I gotta learn harder i guess!
Found this pretty awesome smooth Manual pad right by our hotel, I wish i would of had my board with me!
Also found this pretty awesome Bathroom!
I call this one the "Faces to darkness"! One of my favorite photographs which I taken on this trip! Too bad the
quality is all automatically low on all these photos on this website, thats because I don't want you to wait ages to
view all these Photos. But I really like this Photo, so
click here it to see it in bigger quality!
