Hong Kong, Shanwei & Qingyuan
October 4th to 11th, 2009
Big Apartment Buildings and Gerard!
Owen and I continued the search for new spots in different cities in the Guangdong Province. Shanwei was our next stop.
Shanwei is located on the coastline.
Goddess of the Sea!
Four!
Five!
I thought I had Black and White film in my 35mm camera...
Cigarette bongs are pretty popular out here...
Moments before he got angry for disturbing the gamble!
I am in China, gotta take some pictures of Dragons!
Owen works in the Wine Industry!
Since we didn't find any really good spots in Shanwei, I bussed over to Qingyuan, which is a city north of Guangzhou.
Altogether took a 6 hours bus ride there and back. But I saw some really interesting stuff out there so it was worth it.
Back in town I was taking motor taxis all day in hopes of finding spots, mean while I was observing the transportation of
goods carried out in China...
guess how much they cost...
7 RMB's (Chinese currency) equal a US Dollar... you do the math!
Officially one of my favorite portraits I took in China! This man portraits the hard working chinese class.
After looking for some spots, I walked a bunch of stairs up the hill of Qingyuan to check out some Temples... I thought
I had it bad walking up there, the guy in front of me carried up bottled water in boxes...
