Xi'an & Chengdu
November 9th-12th, 2009
Imaginary bird...
Kenny arrived in Xi'an and first thing we did was try to film this trick at the very beginning of the Silk Road!
I found the spot the day prior, it ended not being that easy to skate when you consider the traffic, blind spots right
before popping, people watching, the strong wind, almost rain, and the smell of burning leaves right next to the
spot... Xi'an was fun, but unfortunately no real success this time. Especially since we had only had a half a day to
skate because the rain started pouring...
more naps...
All pumped to skate and get footage in Xi'an, but the rain had to kill it... It was on to Chengdu... 17 hours train
A toothbrush and paste can be considered as treasures in China!
First thing I witnessed in Chengdu was a car accident...
Chengdu is known for its Pandas!
and it was cold again...
went around the block...
Kenny somehow got some gnarl food poisoning again, which left him in bed and close to the W.C for a day or so...
I am hyped, I am not really lost anymore...
The friendly locals of Chengdu showed us around a little! Thanks guys!
Panda clawing, Kenny was ready to see the Pandas!
More cute panda footage in the "10,000 Kilometers" Documentary. This trip I did with Kenny will be featured in the
Bonus part of the DVD! Be sure to check that out!
Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center is one of the few centers and places left to save the Giant Pandas
from dying out. There are less than 1,000 pandas left on this planet and 80% of them are in or around Chengdu.
Pandas are my favorites!
