Haven't filmed with Alex for a couple of years now. Bumped into him on the weekend of the Adidas Clash here in
Berlin, and was able to film a little clip for the Website. I forgot one thing about Alex, when he names a line he does
it. I don't think we ever filmed something which he tried and didn't land. Very consistent skateboarder from
Kazakhstan! Yakshimas!

Every year around the end of May, Adidas holds its "Adidas Clash" Contest in Berlin. Its a lot of fun to be in Berlin
around that time since the weather is good, Berlin has good German food, and bunch of friends from all over come
by for the weekend. I didn't feel like filming the Qualifications for the Clash, but once the Finals started, I
remembered that i promised to film some more clips for Visualtraveling. I know a lot of people don't give a shit
about park footage, i belong to those as well, but if you weren't there and feel like watching a four minute review of
the top five finalist runs and best tricks, click and watch!

Bunny Field might sound weird, but it makes perfect sense if you translate "Hasenheide" from German to English.
Hasenheide is a small skate park at the end of this park in the center of Berlin. The park contains many little
manual obstacles, which can be hopped and jumped and flipped over... not lying or  over exaggerating , Michael
completed this close to 2 minute clip within an hour of filming...
Everyone who has been to China, knows that Tsingtao beers are affordable and not so bad at the same time. Well,
Gerard Gademann from Switzerland came over to the South of China for a couple weeks, to check out some spots
and enjoy the refreshing Tsingtaos' after the sessions. This drunken Clip of the Week shows some of the tricks we
filmed in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau and Huizhou. Enjoy and Cheers!

Laurence visited New York for three weeks back in Fall 2008. He was able to film some tricks with Martin Wilson
while I was gone. Time passed and nothing was happening with his footage, so Laurence and I thought it would
be the best to make a short clip for the website featuring some of his new york footage. Sorry for the raw edit, but
New York City is raw! And if you're short on money in the Big Apple, you should be drinking 99 cent Arizona cans all
day! Thanks for the footage Martin!

ten tricks at one spot. John Tanner took it to the next level when we filmed ten tricks back to back, making a one
minute line out of it.  Sorry for the overexposure at the end, was editing for the past two months, I forgot how to film.

Element is holding the "Make it Count" completions this month. Leipzig was chosen to be the starting point for this
event. Pirkka & Michael went over there to judge the contest, and I came along to film a short clip the night prior. We
only had about an hour to film this clip, but Pirkka came up with the idea to film some double actions. Besides our
tank getting emptied, and the park being cold, it was a fun event, and here is the short doubles clip.

I might have only known Daniel Zvereff for about a year now, but we worked together so much this past year that it
feels like ages. Dan did all the Illustrations for "10,000 Kilometers" and helped out with a bunch of other factors
which were needed to get this DVD out. The second day I got to New York, I wanted to know what he does on a
daily bases in the city of dreams. We filmed a
Day in the Life starting from his house in New Jersey all the way to
the Traning Facility on the Lower East side, including the best skating photographer, Brian Kelley.

Myanmar is a fascinating country at the edge of South East Asia. While I was filming with the Preduce team in
Chiang Mai (Thailand), Kyle Brown & Walker Ryan and I went on a one day trip to the Myanmar border city called
Tachileik to renew our visas. Two weeks prior I found a Whoopty woop, we ventured out for a five hour visit and
skated some unique spots in a country where kids didn't understand the purpose nor knew where to put a sticker.

The setting for the second part of 'fishing lines' is located in the exotic but crowded streets of the Buddhist capital
state of Thailand. Thanks to Planet-sports.de, it was feasible for Michael to jet over to South East Asia to film a

the monarch streets of Bangkok. A.k.a. the number one

Visualtraveling presents 'Holy Cow' a short ten minute piece summarizing a month long journey through the chromatic
& chaotic countries of South Asia. Starting of in Islamic Bangladesh while working our way through Hindu India and Sri
Lanka right after Ramadan turned out to be the ideal route to exploration. While we mainly focused on gathering video
footage of four wheels rotating, the desire to understand these obscure cultures sometimes leads one  becoming part
it. Dying ones hair henna, riding rickshaws, or curry-overdosing... Its all part of the adventure that needs to be lived.
Traveling to Hermit Kingdom is already bizarre enough, but when we heard that North Korea would be celebrating the
100 year anniversary of the Great Leader & eternal president,
Kim Il-sung, there was no way to let such an epic birthday
party slip through our hands. Laurence Keefe, Kirill Korobkov and I flew over to Pyongyang for two days to witness the
madness. While skateboarding within the DPRK was our main intention, it was overshadowed by the celebrations & the
'no sliding' anywhere rule. The three minute clip portrays a small insight into North Korea from the 15th of April 2012.

together with the globe trotting filmer Patrik Wallner to concoct some harebrained excursion to another third world country

risk, the bigger the reward, which is probably why the likes of Jerry Hsu, Keegan Sauder, Joey Pepper, Javier Mendizabel

despite some of their limited past experience with riding motorbikes".

The Converse China team once again embarked on a journey, this time to the northern neighboring country of Russia.
While Skateboarding is booming within China, the team was looking for something more obscure to skateboard and the
Far East sounded like perfect option. The only problem was that no one expected it to be freezing in April. Besides dealing
with the language barrier, the gang had to get accustomed to traditional soviet style ice swimming and much more.

Is there a more ideal locale for skateboarding than to the teeming Kumbh Mela festival in North India which hosts what
was estimated to be the world's largest religious gathering ever recorded? The answer is yes, probably any back alley or
random village street would be more productive and doable than at this joyous, ancient gathering. At the Kumbh Mela,
Gurus and millions of other assorted Hindu devotees make their sanctified bathing pilgrimage to wash away their accrued
sins at the confluence of the Ganges, and Yamuna Rivers, that takes place every dozen years in the city of Allahabad.
