We recently had the pleasure to visually merge the collaboration of @thrashermag and @vans for their Customs platform available in China and Korea. With a tight deadline, typhoon season rolling through Shanghai and coffee spilled all over our only white samples, matters almost could not have been worse. Luckily, we had wizards like @jackhydeanimations on board creating frame by frame cut outs of @highhighchai magic on ledges and shoes popping off into the Thrasher abyss!

Sometimes you can plan for weeks but with skating, you can’t always forecast injuries, like an unfortunate ankle roll in the first hour of filming. Luckily, we were in good hands with our producer, @leabouchat and their team as they improvised and found ways to get everything needed to showcase the Thrasher and Vans Customs available in Korea and China!
