Terracotta Soldiers are build to stand
Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, Shenzhen & Sanya
August 2009
After a loooong travel from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing, we were exhausted. But to be honest, all that counts at the end of the day, is that she is happy about us skating!
Architecture made for Skateboarding!
Its my second time at the Great Wall and I still feel so honoured and blessed to experience the longest Wall build by man…
John, Naim, Danny, Kirill, Laurence, Stas, Zvereff, Cates and Pasha! TSR 2009 (Missing: Michi, Kenny and Alexey, Troy and me)
Our driver in Beijing! Thanks Vincent for hooking it up with the ride!
So your probably just skimming through these photos and not really realizing the gaps what happened in between the photos. First of all, I have to apologize since I didn’t have the time nor energy to take photos while we were in northern and central China, because I either had to film or lay in bed with a high fever for a couple days. We had to take a STANDING TRAIN for 13 hours to Xi’an, where Danny and I got sick. More about the “Standing Train” in the upcoming Documentary! By the way, thats Kirill with his pro model in front of the main Pagoda in Xi’an, central China.
Kenny joined us from Beijing, but he had a fever as well for the first week in Beijing, and finally got better and was ready to skate when we arrived in Xi’an.
Laurence and Tommy! After Xi’an we had to head to Shanghai, where we meet up with Troy and Tommy. Thanks Tommy for letting us stay at your pad!
Besides on our arrival day, it rained everyday!
In Shenzhen, everything was Aey Ok, no rain!
One of my good friends in China was getting married. So at this point it was only five of us left, Moi, Kenny, Laurence, Troy and John. (All the Wedding Photos are from Troy’s camera)
After an amazing Wedding, it was off to Sanya, the most southern tip of China!
